Dear Jack, Jane, insert your own name.. let’s try this again. To whomever it may concern: Hi.
I am the dry, sarcastic and quiet member of..- well, nothing. Some know me as the daughter of Warti while others may know me as Arthur‘s daughter but the truth is, I’m the daughter of both. I’m also Djo’s big sister, well, half-sister if you want to split hairs but “This is Aydin and half of her is my sister – see, all this stuff on the right – but I’m not related to the other half,” doesn’t make for a nice introduction because #1 it’s too long-winded and people will have stopped listening after ‘This is Ay..-‘ and #2 it’s just a technicality and I don’t even know why I brought it up.
Anyway, to get to the point, most people simply know me as Aydin. Or Aydin Suzanna. Or ‘Ay,’ if you must. You may call me ‘Suza.’ Last name is Koek. But let it be known that I no longer respond to cookie monster, we’re not in kindergarten anymore and I never appreciated the joke, however intelligent it was, it was even less funny in the eighth grade. Kids think they’re so funny..
But let’s go back a little. I was born on a Tuesday, August 2nd, 1983 in The Netherlands and that’s where I lost ya.

So now that you still know absolutely nothing about me I might as well share what I’ll be using this journal for. A combination of art and photos, mostly, which can vary from surreal-ish paintings to photos of a pigeon’s growing progress, whichever holds my fascination at the time of posting.
